Chairman
Khaled Shash graduated from the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University in 1984, with an Honor degree in Telecommunication and Electronics. Shash has spent over ten years in Research and Development Management in Giza System. Some of the major Projects he has participated in and lead during nearly two decades of IT experience, included the main billing platform for Egyptian GSM operator Click, the automation of the Junior World Cup tournament in Egypt.
Khaled Shash Joined Raya since its foundation in Year 2000, He started in as a General Manager for technology system integration in order to develop the infrastructure solution. From 2001 to 2009 Shash became the CEO of Raya Contact Center. During this period, he succeeded in lobbying with the government sector in Egypt, multinational companies and the global standard accreditation center to be perceived as a world-class operator. He managed to expand Raya’s portfolio for major global accounts, such as Microsoft, McDonald’s, HTC, General Motors, Convergys and Etisalat.
Shash then started a new line of business in manufacturing, initiating the first Food grade plastic –PET- pellets recycling factory. He was the CEO of “BariQ” during the period of 2009-2014. Shash recently founded along with his Managing Partners, Caroline Antoune and Mohamed El Nahas, the 1st Middle Eastern consulting office specialized in Business Process and Contact Centers, with the mandate of enabling organizations across the region to setup, implement and operate their own captive (inhouse contact centers and back office operations), capitalizing on the expertise of Mavens Consulting team in the different functional areas of the business.
MOHAMED EL NAHAS

Mohamed is an Economics Graduate from Cairo University with 17 Years of experience in the Business Process Outsourcing Industry.
He led the Commercial and Strategy Functions in the Regional Champion of the Outsourcing Industry in the Middle East.
During his previous tenure in Raya, Mohamed has successfully promoted the BPO/contact center industry in Egypt, and cemented Raya’s reputation as a competitive evolutionary BPO organization within the EMEA region. Mohamed along with Khaled and Caroline, founded Mavens to bring together a range of expertise to organizations throughout the region with the mandate of leveraging customer experience, strategy implementations and regional deployments of Contact Centers, Customer Engagements center and Back Office Operations. Mohamed’s currently leading the Commercial and Strategy functions as a Managing Partner in Mavens Consulting.
CAROLINE ANTOUNE
Managing Partner( Service Delivery)
Caroline has graduated from the Faculty of Hotels Management and Tourism, Helwan University. She has over 18 years of experience in the BPO industry.
As one of the management founders of the largest regional Service Providers, she has played a vital role in setting up the foundation of the BPO and Contact Center business, as well as the transformation of the Egyptian BPO and Contact Center industry from a local start-up to an EMEA Guru.
In her capacity as Chief Operations Officer in Raya, she has led all Customer Experience and Operation functions in Raya including training, workforce management, quality assurance and process improvement across Raya’s multiple delivery sites She has led many strategic assignments in Raya including the implementation and roll out of ISO & COPC standards across all Raya operations and sites since 2007 till 2018.
Currently, Carol’s is responsible for the implementation and delivery of all consulting services Mavens offers to the Market via Mavens Associate Consulting team.
Dina Soliman
Busines Development Manager
Dina has graduated from York University majoring in Business Administration and Centennial College with a diploma in HR Management. She has over 12 years of experience in the BPO industry. She started her career in the BPO industry in Bell XpressVu Canada in the call center operations. In 2007 she moved to SAPESCO petroleum services company in Egypt, joining in the role of Business Account Manager, where she was involved in the organization transformation project to consolidate the groups subsidiaries into a Holding company. Later on, in 2009 she moved to a new role in Raya Contact Center in the department of International Business Development as an Offshore Business Development Account Manager. She then took the role of Offshore Tenders and Bid Management where she has worked on many strategic proposals since 20014 till 2017. Currently, Dina is currently the Senior Business Development Manager and in Mavens consulting.
Ahmed Ali El-Badawy
Chief Financial Officer
Ahmed Ali Badawy has more than 24 years of diversified and progressive work experience in corporate finance and management in the telecommunication, IT, construction, manufacturing, trading and non-banking services industries. Badawy also possess strong experience in due diligence and M&A as well as preparing a company for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) as he successfully managed the execution of Raya Contact Center IPO in April 2017, in addition to managing the acquisition of the first offshore business company in Egypt the call center company (C3) in 2007.
He occupied the position of the regional finance director for Raya Contact Center for 10 years where he managed finance operations, including budget development, financial planning, treasury, accounting and taxation. His key roles also included overseeing financial and performance indicators, developing strategies for various services, identifying investment opportunities. As board member and member in investment committee, he played a significant role in executing Raya Contact Center regional expansion strategy in UAE 2014 & Poland 2015 through establishing and managing the operation of two Greenfield Companies
Later on, Mr. Bawady joined Korra Holding as the company’s CFO, where he successfully managed Korra Agri line of business spin-off to raise fund and explore new international markets. He currently holds the position of Mavens Consulting Chief Financial Officer.
Mr. Badawy holds a BA in Commerce and Business Administration from Helwan University, Cairo and an MBA from ESLSCA Business School, Paris. He has been a Licensed Certified Management Accountant since 2011.
